AFFF Foam Extinguisher
Specification
The RFS Afff-90 mobile fire extinguisher has a capacity of 90 litres of premix foam solution and is a high performance unit which has been designed specifically for use with Aqueous Film Forming Foam. It is currently used by the UK’s MoD and other defence services around the world.
The System uses a standard breathing apparatus cylinder pressurised to 204 bar (3000psi). In use, the high pressure air is reduced to approx 10 bar by use of a special reducing valve and this enables the total contents of the unit to be discharged in steady discharge via layflat hose attached via standard instantaneous couplings.
